"High-dose cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) during the winter months significantly increased plasma 25(OH)-vitamin D (25[OH]D) levels, but had no significant effects on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) in patients with hypertension, new research suggests.However, vitamin D3 was found to significantly reduce central systolic BP (SBP) and diastolic BP (DBP), according to the study"
