Vitamin D3 and Weight Loss

Having seen on the news that many people lack Vitamin D I started taking one 10 ug pill a day in
early August. I started losing around 1lb a week in weight after taking them.
I thought I must have an illness then I saw the section on this site explaining the benefits of
Vitamin D3 in weight loss. After struggling to lose 2.5 stone over 3 years
and being one of those people who could put on weight breathing only fresh air
I am down to goal weight now and can have a little more than a Ryvita biscuit for lunch.
They work.

Didn't work for me though. :(
However, I recently went gluten free, and have lost a stunning 2 pounds since then. And I feel just as jubilant as you. :D

Isn't it amazing how our bodies have these idiosyncrasies that stop/slow/block weight loss?
 
I had that experience with D3 as well - I'd been on a calorie controlled/meal delivery system for around 3 months - initially lost 2kgs and then stalled. Within a couple of weeks of starting D3 supplements the weight loss started and didn't take me long to reach my target weight. It also made a huge difference to my exercise tolerance and overall mood.
