Some basic info. There are other vitamin and mineral supplements you can take, but keep in mind they can have dramatic effects on blood glucose levels and interfere with a range of medications, not just diabetic stuff.

Anything you take has an effect, a lot of research should be undertaken before adding something, and discussing with your doctor.. Checking for interactions, possible dangers, side effects etc, all the usual culprits.

I take vitamin D (50000 IU once a month, or whenever I feel like it). Apparently a lot of diabetics are deficient in it.
