@mummycaz I take nutritional supplements, including vitamin D. I take them as I have an absorption issue due to coeliac. I tried to find out how much, but all I get is a % of daily needs; So I take around 16%. I also enjoy gardening, so I’m outside. Here in Western Canada we have been around 23 c give or take 3 degrees. So I‘m guessing I get a fair bit of Vitamin D. I really can’t say If I feel the effects.
Obviously there could be any number of things that maybe picked up in a blood panel. I’m assuming that is something you have had done recently or going to ask for.
I asked your age and what your stress levels are like because from my own personal experience both have messed with my well being. Age because I still get hot flashes from time to time 15 years after going through menopause. Clearly, my hormones must still be all over the place, low Estrogen levels that cause mood swings, night sweats, foggy brain and on and on.
Stress is a real doozy too. I’ve worked in very stressful environments, so stressful in fact we had to attend mandatory psychological testing. Many of the issues you describe could cause those symptoms, especially if the stresses you are under are overwhelming. Stress as we all know drive up our blood sugars. I was with my eye specialist yesterday afternoon, my blood sugars didn’t drop below 9 mmol/ls the entire time. I wouldn’t, discount the effects of stress, but you do need to get those symptoms checked out. I wish you well.
