Hi, I’ve had 2 left eye vitrectomies and both have bled soon after the bubble on the eye shrank and disappeared. Is there a reason for this. I haven’t exercised or even carried shopped after both ops. My consultant suggested blood presssure meds but my p doctor said my reassure is normal and won’t prescribe. I’m due a 3rd op in June. Can anyone suggest why this os happening. I need my right eye doing too and I’m afraid I’m case the same thing occurs and it leaves me blind.

I‘m not familiar with your procedures, but I did have a recent vitreous detachment in my right eye. (The doctor says this is not due to diabetes, but aging.) I went to my ophthalmologist office without delay. Everything looked good. (Fortunately, I don’t have any diabetic damage at this time.)I just have to monitor it and return to the doctor to confirm it resolves in about a month. Vision issues are so concerning. I hope you can find some answers.
