I actually have a vitreous hemorrhage... would this still help?
No it wouldn't unfortunately, the vitrectomy operation is carried out to clear the vitreous haemorrhage in the gel of the eye, the op is performed when the haemorrhage fails to disperse on it's own over a period of weeks, bleeding is still occurring and the Ophthalmologist can't perform further laser due to their view being obstructed or where there's a high risk of retinal detachment.
During the vitrectomy operation the surgeon will perform laser surgery if need be, this was mentioned before I had the op but don't know if they did any or not.
