Quoting myself here to update on the walking to/from work. I live 2.5 miles from where I work, (up and down a steep hill) and I've walked to work every day this week. I'm feeling fitter, my sugars are lower, an my jeans are looser. I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. LOL

I have taken up Nordic walking and find its a really good exercise. It seems to be gaining in popularity in the UK. Look up in your area there is probably somebody quite close. You need to learn the technique which takes a couple of hours, then off you go. Y
