Walking

Hi Sixfoot and Broads
The whole point is that we have a metabolic error, but are not ill. Many of us are not in any way disabled by our metabolism. To me being ill means feeling awful and being unable to do things.
I feel fine and although some of my stroke damaged musles don't respond very well, there's nothing I need to do which I can't (or can't get round) I am NOT ill

Thanks Broad for this thread, this is the kind of motivation I have been looking for. I think one of those machines that counts steps might be the sort of thing that will help me do some exercise. Not sure where to get them from, but I'll have a look on the web. Orchid :D

Me too trinkwasser. Bring on the warmer dry weather so I can get out more. Visiting places...zoos, falconry centre and historical places. I can't wait. Also holiday in June!!

How much exercise do I get knitting?
I'm on the second baby sweater since Christmas.and it's half done. I only knit in the evenings.

Hi all. Just got back from a 8000 step walk in the pouring rain with my large brolly and my ipod playing in my ears. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't know when my step meter is 100% correct or not but I do find using it a challenge as I keep trying to beat my own record. I got mine from Amazon
