Hi guys,
I recently found a wart on my right pointing finger, so today I bought some bazuka gel I applied it to my finger then read that it was not suitable for diabetes, can anyone tell me why and if I should stop using it ?
TIA xx

Just looked on the website and it just says this:

Can Bazuka gels be used by diabetic patients?
No. Bazuka gels are not suitable for use by diabetics or patients that have poor peripheral blood circulation.

The pack says
  • Contain salicylic acid which gently removes the infected skin tissue - eliminating the virus.
I am assuming they think a diabetic might not heal properly ?

Everything, and I mean everything says not suitable for diabetics. They are just covering themselves.

Last wart I had was a persistent ****** to get rid of, I ended up getting my GP to burn it off.

Mt Dr told me to use the veruka stuff on my foot I woundtn't worry to much

Its often put to cover them if something goes wrong (eg infection) so you can't sue, but I've used bazuka multiple times with no problem! As a diabetic manicures and pedicures are also meant to be off limits....
