Why is when I have a decent amount of sleep and my blood glucose is in the normal range (5.9) this morning that I feel so washed out. Surely I should be on top of the world.
Sometimes we can feel like this when our bodies are fighting an infection even if we are not showing any symptoms. And, yes, the heat too can affect us in that our bodies are using more energy in an effort to achieve homeostasis. This can make us feel lethargic and I must admit that I have reached saturation point with regard to sunshine.
Jenner, sometimes it is just the way it is. Any person can feel washed out, especially in this heat. It's not always to do with diabetes and I am pretty sure that those people who do not have diabetes and get a goods night sleep as well STILL have days where they feel washed out and do not always feel on top of the world. Hope you feel better soon.
It may well be dehydration & the heats not helping either. Since I originally posted this I have had something to eat and drink. I know what to do now when I feel washed out. Thank you for all your help. You are all wonderful
