Today my blood sugar didn't go higher than 6.6 or lower than 4.7. And I wasn't even trying. I'm reminded of that quote from the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy: "Did you find the right controls?" "No, I just stopped fiddling with them."

Well done you!

My favourite quote is also from "Hitchhiker's" - Lyntilla's response to being asked why she had a panic device:

"There's nothing more useless than a bored archaeologist"

So true!

Well done. I have only recently been diagnosed (T2). When and how often do you test?

I'm T2 and was diagnosed back in 2005, but started injecting insulin last November. I test before meals and before bed, and before excercise if its not in tge normal run of things. But that's because I need to know my the right insulin dose to take, you shouldnt need to be that obsessive if you've just been diagnosed! :-)
