I think you will all be fed up with my questions i have so many in my head.
Ok so low carbs and higher fats wont i put weight on? i have spent years looking for low fat options as i have a heart condition (i am not over weight) if i am to stay away from bread if i can what do i take to work for lunch, i hate salad.

Also had breakfast,weatbix tea spoon honey,semi milk blood 6.8 before 2hrs later 13.8 this has scared me its now 10.30am and i am starving but dont think i should eat till 12 ????
Fat doesn't make you fat carbohydrates do and the fats we eat are healthy fats. I was diagnosed 18 monthw ago & weighed 13st4lb in 3 months I dropped to 11st and still weigh the same today. Some people can tolerate cereal including me and I eat weetabix but it doesn't suit everyone, honey is a no no for most and full fat milk is better than ss as that has sugar added. Full fat dairy products are better because the 'low' versions have sugar in. The only way is to test everything you eat then test 2hrs later, keep a food diary of what is safe for you and a list of no no's and you will soon find the foods to suit your body and can then make your menu from themHi

I've got a problem with my diabetes. The doctors have told me I'm in between a type 1 & 2 the problem is I cannot put any weight on I used to be 78kgs now I'm down to 65kgs. the question is could I start using weigh gain product or not ?
I wonder why the GP thinks you are between T1 and T2. If you are having problems trying to gain weight then you are likely to be late onset T1 i.e. T1? Why try to gain weight unless it is very low? Are you one any medication yet? If your weight really is low and assuming you are eating something then you may need something like Gliclazide and even insulin in the future to increase your insulin one way or another.I've got a problem with my diabetes.
