Which weight loss injection are you talking about? I believe there are a couple?
Personally as a long term T1 (53 years) I find the easiest (only?) way for me to lose weight is to control my carbs, combined with watching my cheese intake a bit (I love cheese).
You need to give a bit more details OP about yourself.
If the injection you’re referring to is a GLP-1 inhibitor (like Ozempic) the answer is maybe.
What’s your BMI? Are you insulin resistant? Are you on metformin?
What is your total daily dose of insulin?
If you’re on the big side and take large doses of insulin and have insulin resistance, then the answer is more likely to be yes.
Your insulin doses might have to come down as the injection will eventually work on the insulin resistance. This MUST be done with the help of your DSN or endocrinologist.
