Hello
I have joined Weightwatchers as I need to lose a lot of weight, 3 1/2 stone to be precise. My BMI is 32 - terrible
I have been doing it for a week and I go to my first weigh in tomorrow.
A lot of their own brand meals are very high carbohydrate so I steer clear from them and try to limit the amount of carb's I eat. But I end up having to eat a lot of fruit to try and stay within my points. My blood control seems fine so far and my insulin has had to be reduced very slightly as I am eating less. Night time is my absolute hungriest time of the day, I take Levemir at 5pm and Novorapid 3 times a day at mealtimes, so i'm wondering is it the Levemire making me so hungry, but i'm eating a lot around 9pm.
Have any other members here with type 1 diabetes joined Weightwatchers and if so, did you lose weight successfully??
