Weird case.

So i am 20 years old and have been diagnosed with type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetes one week ago.
By C peptide level is 1 (normal levels: 1.1 -> 4).
I have 81 kg, 181 cm of height, i am not fat and kind of average although i have a considerable amount of muscles because i lift weights 4 times a week on average.

I got in hospital with 320 blood sugar, hba1c of 6.54.

Here start the weird things: I didn't lose any weight, instead i gained in the last 3 weeks because i had very high amounts of stress.
After bringing my blood sugar down in the hospital and further more investigations my doctor let me home with a treatment consisting of: 18 units of Lantus in the morning before i eat.

After getting home i got in the span of 20 hours, 3 times to hypo, so i needed to take sugar(i got to hypo 3 hours after eating 40 grams of carbs and also an apple). The problem could be that i have eaten about 60-80 carbs only in this time.

My doctor said this morning that i should take only about 14 units and see how it works.
Also she said that it is weird because from experience all people that make diabetes at this age require about 4 shots of insulin a day (1 slow and 3 fast before every meal).

So my questions are the following: Has anyone experienced something like this?
Anyone has this low amount of insulin?

When I got diabetes first I went through the "honeymoon" period where as I believe is when your body is getting rid of just the last amount of insulin that is left over this period does not last too long and your sugars do increase always remember if you are going to the gym you don't need to take as much insulin for eg if I was just in work I would take 1unit of insulin for every 12grams of carbs but when I gym I only need to take 1unit for every 20grams also lantus is a 12hr shot this will try look after bloods in the background I personally found that taking my lantus at 19:30 every night is best for me but this is no good unless you take the nova rapid when I eat carbs. I presume u know this ,I think I might have picked you up wrong

Stopped taking insulin and my blood sugar rarely goes above 140-150 even 1 hour after eating.
I eat completely vegan and sometimes my blood sugar goes as low as 70 and then i start eating.

Also my ICA antibody test came out negative but some king of thyroid auto-immune antibody is 10 times the normal range TPO (still my other thyroid results are fine). Now im waiting for the GAD. If that comes negative i don't now whats happening to me.

Still since my ICA is negative i have high hopes. (I know someone who after stressful periods gets to hospital with huge blood sugar but doesn't have diabetes and completely normal blood sugar the rest of the time)

Got new results. I can't wait for the appointment with my doctor, can anyone help me?
Anti-Gad antibodies are 1.3 (normal level 1) U/ml
ICA antibodies are negative.

Also my TPO is sky high so it could be thyroid problems but i am not sure.
Anyone know what this can mean?
