Ok first off apologies for moaning!!!

Ok my husband and I went out for the day today to visit Canterbury. Now yes I was stupid in that we'd woken up late and gone out without eating. However I was fine (except a slight headache) until we went to have a meal about mid afternoon. After a long wait before our order was even taken I started to feel dizzy and went freezing cold (internally shaking with it). Now I've struggled dizziness for years as I have migraine variant AND labarynthitis. I also have fibromyalgia and Raynaud's phenomenon (oh joy guess I'm falling apart) however the cold and shaking is definitely a very new symptom. I did check my bg which came out at 6.3. I'd like to be able to ascribe this episode to one of my other many complaints however it eased off after we had eaten. Guess I was just silly not to have eaten earlier in the day..... I was just wondering if it's something that's worth making an appointment and discussing with my dr on Monday or if someone has any ideas as to what MIGHT have happened (yes I realised that were not medically trained).

The wife has Raynaud's, and she can sometimes feel like you describe if she is late eating. Not saying it is connected with it, as for her its her blood pressure dropping too low. I would say talk to your Dr about this, do you check your blood pressure when your Raynaud's is playing up ?

To be fair my Raynaud's hasn't played up in a very long time, so didn't even think about that, but I do keep a fairly regular check on my bp. I don't carry the bp machine with me when I go out (if I carried everything I'd regularly carry a camping rucksack lol) so couldn't have used it during today's 'episode'.

O .. sorry I just realised you were on a day out ...sorry ... well done on getting your Raynaud's under control.

For what it's worth - when I had low BP I used to feel like that after exercise, did you do a bit of walking on an empty stomach perchance? Just a thought :)

Thank you both so much for your replies. They have put my mind at rest quite a bit. I know it's quite a few hours post episode and now, but I did my bp this morning before getting out of bed and it has certainly dropped. It's gone from 115/77 down to 97/61 so it possibly is that.

@Enclave thank you.

@13lizanne yes we we walking the town before we agreed our restaurant
