Saw the GP today & asked her if she had the results from my recent blood test, ah yes here they are , Well done your HbA1c is now 39..! A year ago was 78 & steadily reduced.
Not taken any Metformin since Jan 1st this year, so that tells me there is life after medication.
I was lucky to find this place & glean a lot of useful information, a fantastic nurse & a patient wife too.
Cutting Carbs was one of the best things that I have ever done, potatoes in moderation, very little bread if any most days seemed to work for me really well. Another added bonus is that I have shed two stone in weight.
Many thanks all & will still be hanging around this place in future !
