Never watched it. But I used to get up early to watch Prisoner Cell Block H with my mum in the 90’s!

I’ll go sign for 8 year old me!

I'm sorry, Julie. When I first read your post I thought you were missing your ancestral home.:angelic:

From another forum I am a member of, the general consensus re Wentworth is:

This seasons been a big disappointment, The problem is all the main and interesting characters that made the show good are gone, Bea smith, Maxine, Frankie , the freak, it feels like the show has run its course and should be axed

I was so excited when Wentworth came to air in UK but after watching a few episodes I decided it was akin to soft porn and stopped viewing.

Just had the girlfriend move in with me who I now find was an avid fan of Wentworth. So much so that I am now HAVING to watch every episode of every series starting at series 1 episode 1. All that on top of Emmerdale and Corry........Noooooooo

Multiple televisions solves this problem.

I have no idea what the deal is about this program.. Back in the late 1980s early 90s I knew this girl hooked on the original series.. She would stop whatever she was doing when the schedule had this lined up.. I mean "everything." ;)

I had to let her go & eventually married a Star Trek fan who understood how to use a VCR.. :)

Or internet streaming with "catchup?" :D
Still need multiple tv screens to get the big screen viewing experience though.

It might be alright for some if they want to watch catchup on a tablet or phone while they are on the bog. :D

To be fair, i use a 24" monitor with Dave, my super computer.. My terrestrial flat screen TV isn't dominating that much bigger..

Let's be honest, i can't see a "soap" with the claustrophobic studio angles & directing, (let's not forget the dodgy set.) losing anything on a 7 or 10" tablet..
.. LOL, It's hardly the sweeping landscape of "Out of Africa." Or the immersed world of Lord of the Rings...

My old office 32" Samsung television now doubles a computer monitor, as my old Chimei 22" died of old age last year, and dropping down to a old 19" Acer wide screen was a "Not happy Jan" moment.

My partner and I seem to like the same stuff, so if she starts something watching series stuff on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I can always catch up in the office then watch it together and vice versa

My wife & i are similar.. Though she can't get her head round Star wars. & dont like too much running about & big booms with the action. But most of the humour? we're on the ball. :p
