Does a low hba1c (with medication) mean that you are no longer at risk of complications of diabetes? Sorry, I don’t know very much about diabetes and I’m starting to panic about the health side effects.

No it doesn't, I'm sorry, but once your BG levels have been high enough hba1c reading for a diagnosis, you have to be careful that you are always liable to return to high levels.
Controlling your BG levels and reducing the high spikes from food and drink, from carbs and sugars is the way to go.
I guess it depends on what you want to achieve. I take Victoza a drug from the same family as Ozempic.
These drugs have two effects, they help with blood sugar control and in some people it helps with weight loss. If you have reduced your HbA1c to non diabetic levels and if you have lost sufficient weight you (after discussion with your GP) may decide to stop it, however bear in mind you’ll need to have a diet plan to maintain good blood sugar levels and you may put weight back on. Keeping your HbA1c at non diabetic levels you should avoid complications.
If you have not achieved both of these then, if you have no side effects, maybe continue on the Ozempic for the time being?
