So I have been so good eating virtually no carbs. Other than what’s in veg etc.

Then I had Diet Coke last week. Now this should have been the slap around the face that said, oi, things are stirring and not for the good.
Instead I missed the signs. Had the Coke and that kicked off the whole week.

So starting again, feel like rubbish today but well that’s punishment I guess.

Have picked myself up, brushed myself didn’t and given myself a talking to. Just didn’t recognise the signs.

But disappointed my body is still so addicted to sugar that one slip and it’s downhill until a bigger slip happens and I realise.

Does there ever come a time when the body finally gives up its grip on sugar?

Don’t know where it came from but I think the odd ice cream once a week probably was the first sign!!

But most importantly you have picked yourself up ... it’s a new week and a new start. You’ve learned from it so it wasn’t a wasted experience.

Onwards and upwards (well downwards hopefully!)

Diet coke is ok for me I have found. You will find that what effects you, does not effect others, and what effects others does not effect you.
It is really all about seeing what causes 'you' to spike and knowing when to avoid it and when to have a little of what you fancy (In moderation).

It is my wedding aniversary this weekend and I had a nice french brandy with my diet coke and OMG!
But Ho Hum! I laugh, and think to myself, I used to have higher numbers than that every single day! ... Now its once or twice in the last three months.
