hello all ive just finished my 5 day stay in hospital for my pump (i live in france so you have to be hospitalised) it is hard to remember all the info my brain feels overloaded lol. The pump was the easy bit though as i was also told that my kidneys are so bad that dialysis will be needed in the near future and that i needed to start having tests for a kidney and pancreas transplant. I didnt think it would all be so soon as i was only diagnosed with ckd in march. i feel a little stressed about it all i thought this would never happen to me but it shows how not looking after your diabetes can change your whole life.

It sounds like the whole experience was pretty full on. with all the pump info then the news about your kidneys 
Just take some time out now to give yourself some space and get your head around it all . Be gentle with yourself , and I hope it all works out for you
