What are you doing now and humorous banter.

Beautiful day here.

I'm off into town whilst hubby takes his son back for the meeting at the college. I've not been invited - I guess I'm not considered important enough by the college - after all I'm only step-mum. I'm a bit annoyed by that as when my girls were growing up I made sure hubby was always included (even if he did get called by my ex-husband's surname ;)). I'm sure I'll get over it when I find a cake with my name on (joking about the cake)

Other than that I bought some lovely plants yesterday in Aldi to go with the ones bought in Tesco last week so going to plant those up. We finally made room for our dog's ashes yesterday so I may make a wee border around him.

oh yes they know i want a granddaughter (probably giving sons a complex i never had no sisters either just 1 brother and sadly he didnt want children)i havent got my outfit yet but i am actively looking if i dont see anything by the end of the month i will get something made xx:):joyful:

Well done @satindoll .....was wondering who would be first to put two and two together....will just say it is on a Monday sometime in early July and have booked it for somewhere in London close to where we first met...:joyful:.....seemed to be more appropriate and means more to us than the local one to where we live even though we need to go there to give notice.....

....to your knowledge is this the first diabetes forum wedding....being that it was the forum that brought us together...just wondered.....

...what colour is your hat....:)

Lets just say its got a big daisy on the purple band.....its very fetching for an old bird like moi and won't make you or me embarrassed............:joyful:

Hope you have a good weekend too @Cumberland .....not sure of our exact plans as yet other than @Clivethedrive has an airport transfer into London on Sunday afternoon / evening....may do some more in my garden (lots to be done) or go for walk down to seafront....
....planning trip to London on Monday to double check on our venues and go out for lunch providing other work doesn’t crop up in the meantime....seems like it is all coming together, hopefully....:)

....do you have the weekend off or are you working....
 
Right right now, I'm glugging a G&T after a 2 day work assignment in Bournemouth. The work was interesting and the seaside walks a magical addition and beautiful relief.
I do like to open my front door and put on my slippers.

I think I hear the sound of creeping old age.
