Good morning Cumbs, hope today will be peaceful and pain-free
 
The shrew’s not reappeared. I wondered if I should leave it some food . . . Googled and discovered they eat spiders - very happy now, don’t like having spiders in the bedroom, so best breakfast in bed for a long time! Thank you cat.

I should be having an eye appointment at our local hospital. They cancelled it 2 days ago. I suspect it is something to do with the 70th birthday of the NHS. Party time!

I have an appointment with ophthalmology myself next month regarding a cataract in right eye

Plans for this morning.....nurses appointment shortly to see if I can lose large dressing on leg (before Monday!) then walk into town to get passport photos taken as will need to apply for new one next week once name is changed (holiday booked mid Sept)....
....question for the day......is there any such thing as a good passport photo.....:snaphappy:

are you joking hee hee? On my passport photo I look like an alien due to large specs (which I believe they have now said you cant wear). On my driving licence I look like a troll. I pity whoever finds my purse because my driving licence photo will give them such a shock they will have a heart attack.

I dont take a good photo at all
 
Well I'm going to (for want of a better word) slob for a couple of hours. I am showered and dressed and already have one load of washing out. Just waiting for the other. Then I'm going to sit on my ample bottom and read for a while.


I do have shopping to do today and the daughter and grandchildren are due so will be fun later on with a couple of hot kids and a mother that does s*d all with them.

@wolfie11969 Good luck sounds like you will need it.

At the moment I am enjoying the sauna of the office, it is sort of relaxing, well it is when I have my headphones on, altough I do need a "colleauge blocking" ones, bit like the noise ones but keeps the work people out :)

Time for a trip to Costa :)

People will get jealous. You better send a wolfie whistle to all our other lovely young ladies, whether married or single.
Oh and then so the men dont get jealous you better send them one too :rolleyes:
