I think you'll like this thread, it's gone a bit quiet but it's 60 pages of posts from members discussing eating carnivore.I am looking for ideas on how to do it. What are your meal plans in a day? do you fast? as always i could just go through youtube/internet but i would love to know your opinions and experiences so it could help me too.How do you balance the fats/protein in your meals?
Haven't done carnivore in a while, but it did get me off of a plateau when I used it. For me it was lots of eggs with meats and cheeses stacked on top for breakfast, which I'd have between 12 and 2 in the afternoon. (Intermittent fasting). There was a Dutch company that let you buy 4,5 kilo's or something of beef, chicken or pork, which resulted in various cuts being delivered, so always plenty of choice when it came to what to put in the lard or beef fat. Burgers just seasoned with pepper and salt, same with the ground beef, steaks, fillets, whatever... Liver is full of nutrients, so that was a good way to keep vitamin C levels up for instance. Vitamin D was kept up with salmon and tuna. Not especially creative, the eggs were more so, with so many topping to choose from! Ham, cheese, bacon, roast beef, sausages, salmon, tuna etc, but I never felt really bored.... Seasoning and condiments can help too. (Lavas, mayo...)Hello everyone hope you are all ok.
With Keto/LCHF diet i have managed to maintain my weight. But i hit a plateau and don't seem to lose more wait. Admittedly i don't work out that much and sit at my job all day.
I have already started a work out regime but i also want to try carnivore diet. Keto is expensive enough (for me) carnivore will probably be even more expensive. But i want to try it in for a month see how it works out.

PS:By the way the carnivores here do you get you blood tested? how is it? How do you keep it healthy? you drink alot of water?
I have to respectfully disagree. If all a persons can afford is regular cheap supermarket meat, it is still better than eating a diet full of carbs. We have to stop perpetuating the idea that only grass fed and high quality meats have to be used in order to enjoy the health benefits of a meat based diet. It hinders people with limited means to even start.t's important to focus on high-quality, grass-fed
I can't find the original post @Hotpepper20000 was quoting regarding "grass-fed", but I would definitely disagree too. As far as I'm aware this is NOT an issue in the UK (or should not normally be!) though it may be so in the USA. We have enough grass here and the rain to keep it green and growing, so IMO it's currently being used as marketing ploy that can be ignored.I have to respectfully disagree. Carnivore does not have to be more expensive.
A cheap cut of meat in the slow cooker is delicious. And eggs are a perfect protein and even though they have risen in cost are still economical and can be cooked in may different ways
There's a very good reason you can't find the quoted post, or even the member who posted it anymore.I can't find the original post @Hotpepper20000 was quoting regarding "grass-fed"
