Recently I have started experiencing thirst from diabetes. I drink a lot of ice cold water, but also a few soft drinks now and then. I was just wondering if you could say what your favourite thirst quenching drinks are?

darjeeling tea without cow juice and water

if you are experiencing thirst due to high sugar levels id say nothing will quench your first and nor should it, you are thirsty because your body is trying to flush out the sugar, you should concentrate on getting down your bg and the thirst goes away

Very true! I had to carry water bottles with me everywhere when my sugars were through the roof in the early days and NOTHING would quench it-I contemplated a hosepipe at one stage as I was so desperate.

I like no added sugar real lemonade from waitrose £- a bottle, it is fizzy but I add water to it .....

The slightly sparkling flavoured water is lovely from Tesco.

I will buy some of it , never tried it before (sparkling water)

Ginger Beer I have no idea how much sugar is in it.
I know Ginger is good for you though.

Cold tap water, better than bottled water here in Sheffield.

Aye, Yorkshire water, filtered through several metres of peat and sheep ****. There's nowt like it. There's even a tea specially blended by Betty's of Harrogate to go with its unique qualities.

Iced water with a couple of slices of lemon or lime........or a pint of triple vintage and rough cider (alas a thing of the past)
