Totally agree with you.I come from a family of t2s and when i was diagnosed with the same at age 43 it was no surprise. I was already overweight but LOSS OF WEIGHT SUDDENLY led to blood tests that showed my readings at 400. But since I have gained back all the weight inspite of metformin, statin and a whole lot of meds. Have understood that neither doctors nor the layman[ read friendly but nosy neighbor ,over enthusiastic friends and the know it all uncles] has nailed it as far as t2 is concerned. Yes and their comments like I did not try my best to prevent it or constantly asking about my diet does'nt help.I'm told it's more like genetic due to my family all having it. My father got it early 30's and I also got it at 30. But it actually took a while for doctors to test me because they didn't believe I was old enough. They tried to send me to the sexual health clinic to get tested lol. Was only when I moved and the new doctors took me serious. So I guess I'm t2 but I guess genetic.
