What can I do about night time faecal incontinence?

Please someone help / advise me if anyone has this dreadful condition. I have night time fecael incontinence i btelieve is caused by Autonomic Neuropathy .I am type 2 and control is good HbA1c 6 .8 Ive had sigmoidoscopy and proctogram both normal and nothing sinister found. Pleas someone help me with advice on treatment and any specialist or consultant i can contact. It is a dreadful condition please help someone.

Oh this must be so distressing for you, if the incontinence is due to neuropathy you may be able to reverse or at least improve it by keeping very tight control of bg levels (as close to non-diabetic levels you can manage).

Might be worth asking your GP for medication that would firm up your stools as there would then be less chance of seepage?

You can buy special discreet pads for nightime wear from larger chemists.
They resemble underwear.
Perhaps the doctor could also supply via prescription.
