I am confused. What level of Blood glucose is considered as high level? Is it 10, 20 or 30++.
How long it will take high BG level damage our eye, kidney and other organs

Personally, I consider anything over 6.4 mmol/L (~115mg/dl) to be high, but there is no specific answer (although I think the majority of us would agree that 10, 20, and 30 mmol/L are all high).

All depends on the person I think, though we are all given the same targets. I consider a high BG to be anything over 11mmol.

I would think anything above 8 mmol would be considered high and that is where damages starts. But the damages differs for individuals, no one really know the specific thresholds or timeline.

Note that for T2D chronically elevated insulin level is also a health risk. But often overlooked. So carbs reduction generally lowers both insulin and glucose spikes, especially so for low carb high fats diet.

Thanks @NoCrbs4Me. From the article it seem our organ cells and nerve fibre started experiencing damage when the BG level set above 7. This worry me as for me 2 hrs after meal sometime the reading is above 8. Do I need to ask my doctor in Hospital to send me for major organ checkup? Right now I am not taking any medicine as my doctor said I am just started developing insulin resistance and advise me to change my life style n food intake. In fact the doctor has sent me to see the dietician for caunseling. I am now on low carbs and my weight lost 4 kg in 1 month. My latest HbAc1 results is 5.9%. Slightly lower than the threshold level.

You're welcome. I don't know how'd they would check your organs. I think you just need to continue low carbing, although if your blood glucose is above 8 2 hours after eating your meal may not have been low carb enough.

As a very rough guide, anything in double figures. It does depend whether it's before or after a meal though. My perfectly healthy non diabetic friend went up to 8.5 on my metre after drinking a large glass of juice but was back in the 4s an hour or so later.
