Do you eat a whole one every day?

I do now, yes. At first I only had half but quickly found that the second half went brown no matter what I did to try to preserve it till next day, so I decided the best option was just to eat it and be done! :D I have half with lunch, and the other half either with my evening meal, or as a couple of 'snacks' stood in the kitchen with a spoon in one hand & the avo in the other, and enjoy.

I'm very familiar with the spoon. Lol

The way I save it , if I bust open a second one is to take the pit out, seal it air tight with either waxed paper or Saran Wrap and push it down on a plate so it's air tight. I'm a hair designer and the little papers for perms work great. Theyre cheap and perfectly sized. Maybe you can find a supply store or ask your hair designer if you can buy a box.
It's ridiculous. Can't go a meal without it and now have an issue with nuts so it's snacks as well. Could be much worse. Most healthy natural fat I've found. So satisfying. I lived my life always wanting to eat until now.

Glad you're loving them.

I think the Saran Wrap is what we would call clingfilm here; I tried that a couple of times, didn't work but maybe it wasn't fully airtight as I didn't think to push it down on a plate - will try that (though I'm now used to eating a whole one each day, so I'd probably miss it). They are medium to small ones, not the larger size so I don't think I'm being greedy.

Sorry to be a bit slow - I can't quite figure out what I'd do with the perm papers though?? Having said that, it is close to 1am here, and I think my brain must have gone to bed without me a few hours ago :)

Lol. Perm papers are already cut to perfect size. Will act as an air barrier. Putting the paper on pushing it on the plate is key. Or just eat it. I crave it all day long. The bigger the better. If too small I pop open another one. I need at least 6 oz a day. 2 at each meal and then comes the spoon thing ...
I'm not sure there's too much of this healthy fat. It is my main fat. Then mayo. I try to keep saturated fat low.. the fiber keeps my energy steady for hours. I could easily skip lunch but then I get the hankering for my avocado. Lol.

So happy it's working for you! Do you notice it helps your blood sugar ?

I actually don't eat breakfast. I know I should but I can't. I always feel really sick in the mornings. :( Unless I am having a hungry day, which isn't very often.

Cheers; should have worked that out about the papers - but a much better idea just to eat it all throughout the day.

And yes, I do find it has helped with my sugar levels :)

I really look forward to breakfast which is a large cup of organic unsweetened cocoa made with semi skimmed organic milk. I must try it with full cream milk which I do find very heavy but could reduce the rise .....

You could thin it with water a bit. Full cream is less carbs and thinning it with water won't add to the carbs

Always eat breakfast. Weekdays I either have boiled eggs or crustless quiche. Weekends I might have a full English. Crustless quiche seems to do a better job of lowering blood glucose, probably due to the double cream it contains.

The rise is usually fine. I was just pandering to the creamy people here! lol

Eggs are cool. I ate egg custard cake for breakfast whilst in Spain and the fasting sugar levels were perfect. Mind you I did a lot of walking!

I dream about my avocado bf before my eyes even open!!! Yup, love the same thing day in and day out!!
I usually have oatbran, maybe with an apple cooked in it for breakfast, but for lunch I often have an avocado mashed up with feta cheese, a few walnuts, olives, and maybe tomato - it's lovely :)

I have 2 cups of coffee with lots of milk, no sugar and a smoke for breakfast.
Then a couple hours later I drink a liter of green smoothie, which contains 3-4 handfuls of spinach, a couple leaves of romaine, a big spoon of plain greek yogurt and a handful of strawberries or 2 oranges or a pear and water. I eat a late lunch at 2 or 3. I've been trying to eat more protein, so when I'm not working an egg or two, bacon or sausage and a slice of toast. When working a can of tuna or a cup of hummus and an apple or some cantaloupe, or some cheese and an apple, a little yogurt.
