hi all
for those of you that have comleted the newcastle diet, what foods are you eating now,or what diet plan did you choose to follow, i am on the it myself and forward planning.
Any advise would be appreciated

Re: Follow on from Newcastle Diet

As I am also contemplating starting it, I would also be grateful for 'life after Newcastle ' tips.

Especially if you 'pass' a glucose tolerance afterwards.

Thanks
Cara

Hi Mitsi

This is a crash diet, loadsa weight, short time. Just eat leass in future. I eat 3/4 of a meal and yep, a bit wasteful but it works. Please be careful.

hi carraway
I have wavered a couple of times, due to two birthdays, but managed to sacrifice my last shake of the day, to compensate for my calories.
my scales messed me up last week, hence why i havent posted, i weighed myself last week and my scales weighed at 10st 13 lbs i bought a new pair of digital ones which came out the same weight, i am in my third week of the newcastle diet, and surely i cant of lost two stone in 2 weeks, so im not sure, i dont weigh myself everyday and leave it for once a week (avoiding old habit of lost weight on scales, i can eat now syndrome) but regardless of the confussion, i have lost nearly 4 inches of my waist, and am fitting into a size 14 from a size 18 in clothes and also gradually introduced myself to 45mins on the treadmill today, have to get back on track tommorow, will test my blood sugars on saturday.
it is getting harder now, it can be boring haveing the same thing every day, you could call it a crash diet, but its a good way to start the diet, even if its only for a few weeks, just to get you going, i am not advising anyone to do the same, but just sharing my experience.
