I've done the same thingI missed with the Lancet and got a finger pad it isn't any different in colour just feels sore. I will pay more attention in future. Always wash my hands then rinse before drying, use hand sanitisers after using public lavatorial inconveniences, wear gloves when gardening and moisturiser with coconut oil.
Anything I can do right now ? Can't even see the lancet mark, it's that small.

I am at screaming pitch at the moment with sore fingers. I use Fast clix lancet at level 5. I test 8 times a day. I am a Pump user. I've tried various hand creams and today I tried coating my fingertips with Tea Tree Oil. which stinks! Has anyone got other means of getting their fingers soother. Also at times I have trouble getting any blood out.
Yes i use the same fastclix drum ..each needle about 10 time then rotate to next..lasts agesI definitely learn many things from this forum. After having a sense of feeling the previous day's pricks, I went and got myself a Fastclix lancing device today.
I love it, at the lowest 0.5 setting, I drew blood with the least pain yet !
I saw a video ad on why the Fastclix is less painful than other standard ones, and the explanation about tissue damage seems logical.
For Fastclix users (or others), do you reuse a lancet, how many times ? Is it safe ? I never reused the lancets on my previous standard one, unless I didn't get any blood.
