What do you snack on?

I find my sugars have been high quite often...mainly due to the fact i tend to eat a little without injecting and the amount I can have has changed. Is there anything foods you've found good to snack on without raising sugars?
 
I have those little hartley no added sugar jelly pots :) They are my favourite to snack on and per pot there is 1.3g carbs.

The blackcurrant ones are delicious with a bit of single cream swirled
on the top :hungry::joyful: my favourite flavour yum !
 
And pork scratchings! They are so wrong and dirty but do good! Just check the packet for carbs in case coated in something
 
4 or 5 Brazil nuts are 1g carb, 1g protein. Speaking of that, oh dear, I think I need one.

Or even better with cream on ...

I've never ate a single pork scratching before, they don't sppeal to me for some reason by ill give them a go haha :nailbiting:
 
The idea of pork scratchings used to make me think about throwing up. But we had some über-wonderful delicacy ones in Belgrade last week, and they were - ooo - heaven!

Watch your teeth with these .
Easy to break tooth/teeth on them .
Costs far more to repair a busted tooth/teeth .
 
I've found nuts (even more carby ones like cashews) don't have much impact on my levels. It's easy to exceed your salt intake though, so make sure you get the unsalted varieties. Also, sounds weird, but a protein shake with soya light milk is a nice treat (tastes nearly as good as a milkshake) and doesn't affect my levels either.

I'm also finding that my sensitivity to carbs is slowly increasing over time :(
 
Much the same as the others here: Nuts, cheese, olives, fat bombs, square of 85% choc, spoon of peanut butter......

Cocktail sausages (high quality, watch the carbs of cheap ones)
 
Is it that ur hungry or just fancy a snack? Sugar free chewing gum helps me stop snacking
 
Both really. I've never thought about chewing gum instead though, will definitely try this too!

I've had enough of rich tea biscuits! Ha

Sugar free gum and polos sound great though!
