What do you think of my first attempt?

I can vouch for the quality and taste of Clonakilty black pudding.which is made in Cork Ireland. I was lucky to be on the receiving end of pan fried scallops served on fried rings of said pudding at my brothers last year. Of course you can cut the rings to desired thickness.

@Type-2-Havent-A-Clue Your off to a good start that's my breakfast for tomorrow but with a few mushrooms.

I like Hog's pudding it's white similar in some respects to black pudding about the same in carb content but tastes different sadly it no longer seems possible to get Lukes hog's pudding any more and that was the best I thought.

That looks delicious!

Thank you! I’m certainly going to do my best. Still kind of weighing up suitable vegetables to have alongside this but I will do it

I eat very few veggies. If you eat meat, fish and eggs plus dairy they aren't essential. I eat a lot of mushrooms every day, a few peas, and just have green veg on Sundays with my roast dinner.

Those that do eat a lot of veggies tend to go for cauliflower, brocolli, salad stuff and whatnot.

I used to love vegetables but when I turned into my early 30’s (not that long ago) I started to rebel against them. A bit of tomato and onions was my limit. I never quite understood what caused it

Tomato is a fruit, not a veg, but what's in a name!!!! I eat tomatoes every day as well as mushrooms.

I was led to believe that tomato was something to be moderated rather than an everyday thing. Mushrooms on the other hand... :drool
You need to test for tomatoes. When they are super sweet in season I have to limit them. I also have to moderate onion intake.

Eat to your meter and you won't go wrong.

I’m awaiting a new one unfortunately so I’m playing Russian roulette at the moment!
