Hi
My primary care physician does not know what is the implied average blood sugar for an H1A1c of 5.3 (% I assume) means. I am under the impression that my fasting blood sugar taken at the same time as 112 (U.S. units) is probably nearly as high or higher than the average blood sugar for H1A1c of 5.3. Do you have an approximate conversion for H1A1c to average blood sugar in u.s. units? Any explanation for these strange results. I live on a very low carb diet to control my form of reactive hypoglycemia but these results are puzzling.
