I am sorry you've had that horrible night, there are few things worse than pain stopping you from sleeping. Glad it it subsiding and I hope it goes away for good very soon. Have a virtual gentle hug xHad an awful night - a new pain which came out of nowhere but wouldn't go back to wherever it came from.
Ouch! Hope it's not too bad.cursing the mark he left on me
Me too, I've only been stung a few times but I have quite bad reactions and really fear them. I noticed they are gathering up some tiny caterpillars on my brassicas though, and although I wouldn't wish that fate on the caterpillars, they are doing me a favour really. Hope you have a lovely morning and a good afternoon in the garden!I know wasps help keep aphids under control in garden but I've got a bit of a panic reaction to them.
I hope it didn't stop you sleeping, Antje.Evening meal was two slices of LC toast, an egg, cheese, marmite.
I should have had 3 days off but a sick colleague meant that today is my only day off.
I had an appointment with the rheumatologist today, but had a flat tyre on the way so I had to call off and spent my afternoon waiting for someone to fix it.
And just now I made a new best friend. I suppose getting as intimate as in ones sleeve and biting counts as being very close friends. Not the type of intimacy I prefer, so I carefully showed him out, cursing the mark he left on me. I hope it won't prevent me from sleeping.

Glad to hear that your knee has improved a bit, b ut do try not to overdo it and make it worse again.@Annb yikes that is really awful - I don't think my knee is in the same league but it does wake me up several times a night at the moment. Bed is where it hurts the most, although the suggestion of the thin pillow was a real life saver, at least I do get some sleep. Do you have a recliner? My mum needed three sheepskins (back, seat, and under legs) to be properly comfortable when she had to sleep in a recliner.
It seems the exercise today actually helped my knee, I even forgot about it for a while in the garden! It's really seized up again now though. I'll try to keep it gently moving.
It's quite sore today so I'm taking it easy! Hope your hip is feeling better today - did you get any sleep last night?Glad to hear that your knee has improved a bit, b ut do try not to overdo it and make it worse again.
There should be an emoji for envious. Bread roll (Mmmm), resistant pasta (Yumm), fresh beans from the garden (Mmmm). All things I can't eat, or can't get. Eggs are pretty good at helping you to resist extra food. At least I can have them. It's quite sore today so I'm taking it easy! Breakfast was 3 eggs and a small bread roll. I also had a handful of peas raw from the garden! I was hungry first thing today but eggs kill my appetite very well so I'm not doing the thing of constantly foraging after I've eaten.
Tea will be risistant starch pasta with crispy lardons, runner beans and French beans from the garden. I will try not to snack but it's a rainy day indoors again so...I will try to stay busy so I forget about food though.
I had written "At least you resisted!" but it's vanished... I'm not doing very well today! What did I do yesterday? And what was I tempted to do again today? (Resisted so far and have wrapped the cakes and put them away, ready for the freezer.)
Pressed post reply too soon! I'm glad you had a bit of sleep, and hope it improves quickly now.The night was spent in the big recliner chair in the kitchen, for the most part, although I did have to get up and sit in a more upright chair for a while to ease the hip a bit. Slept from about 5.30 am until about 9, aided by painkillers. At least at the moment I can sit upright reasonably comfortably, so it's improving.
We can remember the 2000s, when we just used the characters that were on the keyboardThere should be an emoji for envious.
