I think that I must have the same GP, Cold Ethyl!
Got up to 4 a day but had to cut back to only one in the evening if I wanted to be able to go out the following day!!!

I only got to 3 and now I have cut myself down to 2 as I think it is making my anxiety worse. I couldn't understand why he even wanted me on 4 as I had dropped my HBa1c from 71 to 47 in 7 weeks on one tablet. I've since lost 4 st so I don;t think I need to be so medicated. Will have to fight my corner at next blood test.

Brunch: cheese and Quorn pepperami omelette

Snack: cream and coconut oil decaf

Dinner: chickpea curry, coconut lime cauliflower rice, minty yogurt

Pudding: Gingermen dunked in pineapple cheesecake topping. Cruel but tasty

do you use the coconut extract? not seen that in my shops.

I had planned to have rum trifle or chocolate tipsy cake on Christmas Day, but having read the new drink driving limits here, I don't think I dare Will stick to cheesecake....with wee men to dunk. Sort of festive.

Acorn squash is lower carb than butternut. I can't cope with butternut, so will grab an acorn if I ever find one

ETA: lower carb on google, higher carb on Waitrose. Go figure.

Brekky was 4 free range scrambled eggs with Kerrygold salted butter. followed by coconut oil and coffee (separately..).
Tea was roast chicken thigh with cajun rub drenched in olive oil and butter which was delicious.

on a side note: my 2 x 24hr fasts meant that i lost 4lbs this week. coupled with starting 1000mg metformin brought my FBG down to 5.9 from 7.5.
it is however starting to creep up again so i am going to try to incorporate the 24hr fast into my LCHF, just 2 days per week.

B: porridge made with unsweetened almond milk and a good dash of double cream
2 x coffee with cream
L: have a lovely pork belly in the fridge, will be having that with veggies
D: not sure, might just have a snack later

Do you mean zero food fasts or 500/600 calorie days like the 5:2 diet? I'm nosey.

Well done on your weight loss

He did a weird Egg Fast + Butter thing.
Sounds like a really good idea.
But it would never work for me.

The flatulent eggbound consequences would result in a rapid divorce...
