what is going on with british gyms

Or you could find the perfect gym with perfect opening hours for you and then move house to be close to it.

Puregym are very good and cheap - they're open 24/7 - there are a few near Basildon. Nearest is Billericay - 5 miles away - in fact, if you cycle there, then immediately turn around and come home you'll save yourself £20 a month.

Is there a back thread going on here, did the op complain about gym opening times, or is it like some code for some sort of heinous crime I don't know about, judging by the vehemence of some of the responses?

And why do you need to rest for 2 to 3 hours after lunch? That seems like a perfect time to go to a gym.

Try the climbing gym near there. Longer hours. Much more fun than weights and rowing machines.

Hi Greener,

I see a lot of fitness places open late in the complex where one of the studios I rehearse is located?
