what is PA1c?

I went for the usual 3 month blood checks and noticed this one - PA1c. The HCA taking the blood didn't know what it was for and Mr Google doesn't seem to know either - anyone?

Nope - it reads PA1c.

I have no idea in that case. However, the HbA1c is often shortened to A1c. Thats all I can offer.
Maybe give the nurse a ring?

Thanks, I tried to ring, but she leaves earl on a Friday (lucky lady!) so I'll have to wait until Monday.
It also had a GPIP test - also missing from Mr Google's repertoire - beginning to wonder what they are checking out!?
