Hi
What is the best time to measure the FBG
After 8 hours or more or less
Any result can be adopted as a result of correct

Measured after seven hours did not match with last my Hba1c

Hicham

Why would you think your FBG would match your HbA1c? There's no reason it should.

It simply won't be what you expect be it today or anytime. I guess if we all went by FBGs and the last average HbA1c, many would be in for a shock.

They're not remotely the same thing. One is a 3 monthly moving average while the other is an instantaneous spot check. There is also no requirement to fast for a HbA1c test. May we ask why you want to measure FBG routinely. It's not without reason but people have different reasons for dong so.

Of course I do not routinely check my fbs except to ascertain the effect of new food I want to try.

One is a 2 second test, the other (HbA1c) is a mean average over 3 months .... that's like saying you may as well not test as you know the impact of every meal.

If you want to estimate your HbA1c you absolutely must test after eating on a very regular basis when your levels will be at their highest, and include all these readings in your averages. The FBG on its own is a waste of time and money.

Yes I agreed with you just so I tried the measuring 11 hour the result was a different in whole
All measurements after seven hours fasting was sometimes less than 6 mmol the 11 hour was 8 mmol this. Big difference about 2.5 mmol
This means dump the liver is equal to 2.5 mmol

Yes, big difference. Then if you ate following that 8mmol/l reading, your levels would be higher again.

Yes it is the result is a not good, but is not a bad because I don't touch upon any medication and I will do more to get a result of the best
As the analyzes hba1c suggest that he was high only the timing of measurement was not in time
Anyway maybe I have big dinner last day
