What is this trickery

Bottom line seems to be : steam, fry,bake, add herbs/spices but for veggies,don't boil to b*ggery!
When I was young, nan put the sprouts on to boil 1st week of November to be tender for Christmas dinner;)

When I make Mr shar67 a chicken curry, I add cauliflower near the end, so I can have curried cauli and he has the chicken, I do it with a lot of meals, whole mushrooms in with meatballs, I know it's not good for a proper vegetarian but I don't mind it save making 2 different meals

I like this idea-it would also work for me so I could have a little meat and lots of veggies like I like to eat.
