What Is Wrong With The Forums Website?

First it was down for a day and half with no warning, while I kept getting messages that the site was forbidden and I did not have the right to access it.
FINALLY it posted saying the website would be back at midnight ... I came back after midnight only to be told it would be back at 2pm and there would be a surprise!
Now it's back up, but I can no longer post pictures in the threads, nor can I edit a post that were screwed up because the pictures did not post correctly.
THEN I try contacting the site to ask what the problem is, and I fill out the online question form, only to click to submit it and receive the message that there is no such site.
WHAT IS GOING ON?
If the surprise is that I can no longer post pics or edit them, that's not a very nice surprise.

Hi Saskia, as part of the mod team I can only apologise for the short notice of the forum going down, we weren’t privy to any more notice either. Post maintenance I have noticed problems with uploads too and have reported it. I’m sure that @DCUKMod will pass these problems up to the HO for their attention.

Thank you, @Rachox . In another thread I was later able to post a pic, from a different website than the first pics I tried to post.
We all seem to be creeping back, like Munchkins after the house crashed.
