What is your number 1 LCHF tip?

Cream.... its amazing.. and having been low fat dieting for years it make me feel very naughty when I eat it. I now always have some in the fridge for coffee, sauces and to poor over my berries.. on days when I am feeling sorry for myself I have berries and cream for breakfast lol
 
That's the way I'm going Kezzer - still on the 3 cups of coffee with cream. And have got used to pouring it over 'dessert'. Fell off the wagon yesterday. Carbs were still 20% down on my old average, but was definitely a 'high' day. And the BG readings told me too :( Anyway, back on it again today and feeling good. Nuts, cheese, cream and full fat yogurt are getting me through so far. And yes - I love that naughty feeling every time I have something high fat! :nurse:...:nailbiting:......:rolleyes:....:woot: Woo Hoo!
 
What's your number 1 LCHF tip if you could only give one?


Cabbage , it was once Almonds (flour) but have cut back on them. significantly I now eat a cabbage (white) based diet , raw , steamed and sauerkraut . I've started adding fajita powder to the steamed cabbage , absolutely delicious. Red cabbage is much higher in carbs and should be avoided.
