In particular interested to know how do you set your goal and what are the numbers you get ?

How close is the reported GMI by Clarity to real A1C ?

It is doubtful many UK-based T2s will have Dexcom. T1s will have other factors in play when setting targets.

Hi Winni.. l can confirm the dexcon is very accurate with the A1c .. l took my readings to my clinic and they were bang on .. on both a 3 month visit and then a 6 month visit.
I am type 2 and last year kept on a low carb diet and watched my levels drop and stabilise... taking Doctor's Best, Best Stabilized R-Lipoic Acid, 200 mg, 60 Veggie Caps were a great help leveling out mmols

Dont get too hung up on your goals too much as they come naturally if you take what l did.

My A1c is now down to 6% 7.0mmol average
Keep going with it :)

My Dexcom target range is 3.8-8mmol, although I aim for 5-6mmol (I’m T1 so your mileage may vary). Dex predicted 5.4% and my last one a couple of weeks ago was 5.5% so I’m very happy with its accuracy. Here’s my last three months...
