No idea what that was about, it’s now back to 4.8…maybe a glitch?Good evening,
New to this.
I ate my evening meal at 7pm and my BGM had a reading of 5.1
I ate a Salmon fillet, 6 grilled cherry tomatoes in olive oil, a portion of courgettes, broccoli, sugarsnaps and green beans. 90 minutes later my blood glucose monitor is showing a red alert, my glucose is going too low but I feel fine.

I don’t have the finger prick back up because I’m only just pre diabetic 42 and testing foods on myself. Interestingly it’s dipped again to 3.4 then come up to 3.6 so I think it’s probably calibrating.Probably worthwhile checking with a finger prick for your own peace of mind.
Sensors can be erratic at low/ high levels or in the first 24 hours.
I put a note of my finger prick reading in the notes section of the app. It helped me track the accuracy of the sensor readings.
As noted sometimes in the first 24 hours the libre (or any CGM) reading can be not entirely accurate, also note that any reading below 5 may be exaggerated downwards - which is why they say to double-check if it shows below 5I don’t have the finger prick back up because I’m only just pre diabetic 42 and testing foods on myself. Interestingly it’s dipped again to 3.4 then come up to 3.6 so I think it’s probably calibrating.
if I hadn’t put the thing on I’d be no wiser so unless I feel unwell I’ll just monitor it for now.
Thank you for your message.

Hi Jaycee,Hi,
Looking at your cyclist picture. (Observant, sorry.)
Are you wearing any tight clothing (sleeves.) over the sensor?
I’m thinking a possible “compression low?”
Normally caused if lying on the sensor during sleep..
It also could need “bonding in” as some say? To adjust. Recent trauma to the tissue? (Like a reaction to a impaled
Thorn?)
However, I personally don’t get this issue with the libre.
Having put forward what I just did..
I can have some fuzzy logic on the graph with a tight thermal base & some multiple layers?
Edit. Had you eaten prior to that drop? Tagging in @Lamont D & @Brunneria for thought on that one?
