What Producer you use?

hello everyone,

want to consult on what producer is considered the best? I don't really care what my doctor has prescribed since she already missed on my biomakers which led to where I am today. Thanks to her. Let me know guys, I will appreciate whatever help!
 
Apologies for not being clear. I meant which manufacturers drugs are you using? I've heard that there are differences in quality, and that doctors are almost certainly influenced by pharma to promote certain manufacturers drug.
 
Any meds I get prescribed probably can’t be bought over the counter in the UK. Most meds if not all are prescription only & you can’t choose the “producer”
 
GPs/diabetic nurses will generally prescribe a generic medicine if medication is needed, and the pharmacist will dispense whichever brand they have. What has your GP recommended?
 
some months when i pickup repeat prescriptions, can be one brand, othertimes its another. really branding doesnt matter for 99.99% of time its the activate ingrediant(s) and dosage itself that matter.
 
Here in Canada, as we have to pay for our prescription drugs, pharmacists will ask if you would like either the named brand or a generic one, if a generic brand becomes available. I always ask for the ingredients for any new medications, particularly the fillers they use. There can be quite a price difference between the innovator brand and the generic version.

My gp surgery altered the needles i use a few years back which were cheaper.
I didn't like them so asked the surgery to change my prescription which they did.

I also had an issue with a particular brand of blood pressure tablet and spoke to the pharmacist and she got me the brand that worked best.

Both these issues were a few years back so have no idea if it still works that way.

I am a firm believer if you don't ask you don't get.
