What Should be Goal of HBA1c for Type 2 Diabetec

A good goal would be an HbA1c of 41 or less as this is considered (by medical professinals) as non Diabetic or normal.

Some would argue that the parameters i.e
Normal up to 41mmol
Pre Diabetes 42 to 47mmol
Type 2 Diabetes 48mmol or more
have been set too high but that discussion is perhaps for another thread.

We can only do our best with the tools we have.

There is a lot more on diabetes.co.uk than this forum.
Go to the Home page and type "hb1ac" in the Search box on the top right of the page.
This will lead you to a great description of hb1ac: what it measures, what ranges you should aim for and more.
