What Should I Take Away From Having This Takeaway

Hello. 8 weeks type 2 and following a low carb lifestyle and I feel so much better. I’m controlling my levels. Today was a difficult day foodwise and I gave in to fish and chips from the chip shop - then a couple of hours later chocolate Took bloods to see how bad I’d been affected.

Pre 6.5
1 hr after 6.9
2 hr after 7.5
4 squares of dark chocolate
3 hr after 7.3
4 hr after 8.1
5 hr after 8.6

It’s not great and I won’t be do that again anytime soon. But I think I was expecting way worse numbers
 
Hello @Tminus2 Don't beat yourself up, your results were fine, you know it's a rare treat and sometimes you have to go with the flow. I eat low carb but don't deny a few chips every so often, the fat in them helps delay the carb absorption.
