people who think they know about Diabetes, but they really don't
What steps have you taken to self educate yourself on living with diabetes since you were diagnosed please ?

I may benefit out of them.

Thank you.

I joined Diabetes UK and read their Balance magazine and subscribe to their magazine for healthcare professionals (Sorry, I forget the name).
I joined JDRF and read the articles they post of Facebook (I have a second Facebook account for following companies, shops, charities, etc).
I have subscribed to newsletters from Glucosmedia and local diabetes research teams.
I have set up regular Google news updates for articles containing the words "insulin" and "diabetes".
I did the Open University course "Living with Diabetes" (Unfortunately, no longer available.)
I read many posts on this forum.

Is it called Diabetes Update? Do you get it free or is it a paid subscription? I get mine for nothing but can't remember how I registered for it

I read, then I read some more, then I found 'Low Carb Down Under' then I viewed lectures and presentations by such boffins as Prof. Ken Sikaris, Drs. Aseem Malhotra, Jason Fung, Robert Lustig, Gerber, Teicholz, Harcombe et al. In other words, I did/do my homework.

Oh, and I joined this crowd of reprobates on DCUK ;)
