When I had Januvia (sitagliptin) added it made quite a difference to my spikes and is less aggressive in the way that it works compared with Glicazide; it stops an ezyme shutting off the pancreas too early. Yes, Sitagliptin is relatively expensive but appears to get results for many people. I would be wary of the glitazones as they can cause water collection and affect the heart.</p></blockquote><p></p>
