Type 2 What to.do when your ill

Hi I'm type 2 diabetic and am ill full of cold and sore throat what's the best thing to have for sore throat that won't send my blood sugars through the roof ???

I use Strepsils sugar free lozenges. Or you could just gargle soluble paracetamol. The Strepsils taste better though

Works for me too! A lemsip would balloon my BS so they went out the window!

A freshly squeezed hot lemon drink with a good slug of whisky in it.
